Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis in Missouri. She performed in The Muny Opera. She graduated cum laude from The University of Missouri Columbia with a Bachelors degree in Communication and Theatre. After moving from Missouri to Los Angeles she quickly got involved in theater arts acting and choreographing in over 2 dozen musicals and plays including The Little Foxes Brady Bunch: The Musical Peter Pan at the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera as well as 7 lead roles at Los Angeles' award-winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly has also begun landing the roles in television and film, as she continued her improv classes in The Groundlings. Kelly's unique voice and small size have enabled her to portray a range of different character types. Her name was well-known to the people for her part of the vile Samara alongside Naomi Watts, in The Ring 2. In reality her most well-known role is as the cheerful and bright receptionist in Two and a Half Men. From 2011-2015 Kelly worked as a paralegal in the daytime and a party hopper in the evening as a series Regular for The TV Land comedy The Exes. Alyssa Mio's sassy sexpert, her little sister, was Kelly's frequent character in ABC Romantically Challenged. No Tomorrow on the CW included her in the role of an exhausted suburban mom. Her singing soprano has been lent to a variety of animated shows like Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Recently, she was seen as the dim but adorable Cloud 9 employee on NBC's popular comedy Superstore. She has a peaceful private life, with her husband and two small children and enjoys sewing writing as well as volunteering for school activities.
