American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her acting career began with an supporting character in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). She later played reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt and had a supporting part in the short-lived show The Ex List. She was the lead character of Moira O'Hara in the first season of FX's American Horror Story, and played Kaylee in the third season. She was Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead, and Sophie on NBC's This Is Us. She also voiced a number of characters from the animated series Family Guy. She is currently voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe, a character on Netflix's series Virgin River. Breckenridge grew up in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10 years old at which point her mom and sister relocated to California [1The couple lived there for a year , before moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge started to be interested in acting, photography and singing at the age of 13. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 years old, to pursue a career in acting.
